Northfork Photography began humbly—in a small corner of my living room, guided by passion and determination. As my vision grew, so did my space. Today, I’m proud to welcome families into a beautifully designed, full-service home studio dedicated to comfort, creativity, and fine art portraiture.

a little about me...
I’m a wife, Mother of three, animal lover, Gemini, and lifelong artist. My love for photography began at 14, when my late Stepfather gifted me my first camera. I spent years photographing landscapes—chasing quiet moments and peaceful light—before turning my lens toward people.
Everything shifted when I became a Mother. Holding my first child ignited a deeper purpose in my work by wanting to capture those special moments of my own.
For the past 14 years, I’ve devoted myself to building and crafting my work into fine art portrait photography—capturing legacies, preserving love, and creating meaningful artwork families can cherish for a lifetime.
My Approach With Newborns: Art, Comfort, & Safety
Photographing newborns is equal parts patience, artistry and care. In every session, your baby’s comfort and safety come first and foremost. I provide a warm, calm environment where posing is gentle, movements are slow, and every detail supports your baby’s well-being.
My goal is to blend connection, softness, and fine art styling—so the images feel both beautifully crafted and authentically heartfelt.
NEARLY 20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
I've been working professionally in the industry since 2006 when I started shooting weddings and model portfolios. I slowly branched into newborns, family and maternity photography approximately 14 years ago. I am very professional, yet personable with all my clients and I strive to provide an exceptional and unique experience that is easy as well as comfortable.
PROFESSIONAL STUDIO SPACE
I am very lucky to have the convenience of having my own 500 sq foot home studio space located just outside of Hythe, AB. My studio is cozy and fully stocked with everything you need to make your experience comfortable.
PASSION
I have had a passion for photography since I was a teenager, and that passion has only grown since then while I have cultivated my skills as an artist to create lasting memories for my clients.

Fun Facts about me!

I was born and raised in Edmonton and the surrounding area, and moved to the Peace Country in 2012 to raise our family.

I grew up loving the Beatles and when I developed my passion for photography I was convinced I was going to be Linda McCartney and photograph musicians!

In high school I was obsessed with Kids in the Hall and sketch comedy and used to write comedy skits with my friends.

I am an animal lover. I worked at the humane society and have adopted many animals over my life time. Currently we have a dog, 2 cats and 3 bunnies.

Our little acreage has turned into a hobby farm over the years, and now I'm surrounded by ducks, chickens, geese, mini horses and goats!

I was a band geek and played flute in jr high/high school for 6 years.
