This is a time to celebrate you, Mama... You've created new life, and feel your baby grow every day. I want to create images that, years from now, will bring you right back to that moment in time.
Maternity sessions are a wonderful way to make you feel empowered in your pregnancy and remember just how much of a goddess you are! It's no easy feat bringing life into this world and our bodies run the gauntlet doing so. My goal is to have you see your final images and feel so empowered by them that you will forget about the nausea, aches and pains and swollen feet.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR MATERNITY SESSION...
I strive to provide a custom luxury experience for my Mama's to be. I work hard to make my home studio as cozy as possible and provide coffee, tea, water and snacks to make sure you are fed and hydrated during your time with me!
When you arrive to your session, you will look through my selection of dresses and gowns that are designed to showcase your beautiful baby bump. I don't put a limit on how many outfit changes you can have if it fits in with our session time, so do as many as you'd like within the time we have! Most of my gowns fit pre-pregnancy sizes of 4-12 and a very stretchy to accommodate many shapes! We can also get creative with fabric and customize it to you. Check out my client wardrobe here.
This is YOUR portrait session, so you do what makes you comfortable! I want you to feel amazing during and after your session. I photograph a variety of poses and you can be as covered or show as much skin as you are comfortable with. I will send you a questionnaire prior to your session to get an idea of what you are wanting!
Once your session is complete and you are feeling like the goddess you are, you can expect to have your gallery completed within 2-3 weeks to choose your favourite images.

When is the right time to book a maternity session?
The best time to book is when you are approximately 29-36 weeks. Your belly is usually nice and round and beautiful to photograph at this stage!
How long is a maternity session?
Most sessions run up to 90mins
Is hair and makeup included?
Unfortunately at this time I do not offer this service but I am hoping to in the future!
Can my spouse or other children be included in the photos?
Absolutely! This is completely up to you and there is no additional cost.
Can I bring my own outfits/accessories?
This is entirely up to you. I have gowns and dresses that are specific for maternity sessions. What I do recommend is purchasing nude/skin tone coloured undergarments for the session if you don't already own them. It's easier for my editing and they don't show through clothing.
